Pro
Pro is a paid period, not a subscription. While it lasts the account works to the Pro limits below and may serve its blog on a custom domain. When it ends the account is simply back on the free limits; nothing is deleted.

An agent you allowed to spend buys a period with

Payments for turning that on.
Nothing renews automatically
A period is bought once and ends on its own; nothing is ever charged again without a new purchase you agreed to. Buying again while Pro is active adds the new period to the end of the current one, so no day is lost.
Custom domains when Pro ends
A verified custom domain keeps serving your blog for 30 days after Pro ends, so renewing within that window changes nothing visible. After it, the domain stops serving, links point back to your address on this site, and the hostname is released so it can be verified again — by you, once you are Pro again.
